Tween AW 11

I need this in my life.

Uniqlo+J

I know the Jil Sander / Uniqlo hype has sort of passed now but I just had to draw attention to piece in the current Wonderland issue. Three images of probably the coolest looking girl Ive seen for god knows how long.

Styled by Abigail Sutton, the spread uses pieces from the spring/summer collection. Calf length cotton skirts worn with layers of minimalist sportswear pieces. A buttoned up shirt and windbreaker of the same tone have a really cool tailored sportswear feel. The Reebok classic trainers are absolutely simultaneously made it to the top of my new season wish list

A little boys sketch book goes a long way

In the spring/summer " livin loud" issue of i-D I read the article " a stroke of genius". The piece was an interview with Giles Deacon about his illustrious prints that normally form some of the most eye catching looks of his shows.

Giles is a keen water colourist and has been since he was a child , he speaks about the days of just wandering off to draw in the rural spaces surrounding his home. Each season we normally see an incredible print , quite often with a humorous undertone .. In the past he has referenced everything from fishing flies , tarantulas , PAC man to massacred Bambi's. I love that season through season their is a tremendous amount of fun in Giles collections and by the first Ungaro presentation is would appear to be something that he's taking to Italy with him.

A few examples of recent printed images.

" what are your all time favourite things to draw ... Animals, people, um.... clouds, food, and around my hand. Haha - I like doing that I'm very childish"

Bridging The Void

I am hanging my head in shame.

This blog was started with all the very best intentions. I thought I finally found a way of expressing my fashion chat in a constructive way but I failed myself and any potential readers I could have had.

So to get myself into the swing, I felt the necessity to give an overview of the pieces that (if in reality I had the money for) would love to get my grubby mitts on.

The Moncler Grey Branson
This jacket is timeless , completely practical yet I kind of feel it has something fun about it.

H by Harris Backpack
The more I see of  Harris Elliot's bags the more I crave one.

Fracap Japan Mountaineering Boot
Made in a small factory in Italy only available in Japan or on OKI-NI

Our Legacy
This jacket would fit seamlessly into my wardrobe and funnily enough isn't ridiculously priced.
It would be worn for years to come

Burberry Prorsum Sandals
birkenstock made cool

Commes Des Garcons Wallet
So when I have no cash left I get to see the mouthwatering hues of this baby

Proenza Schouler PS1
I think owning this brilliant bag in the largest size and in a relativley muted colour makes it just about masculine enough
for me to feel like the dogs tits having one

Yuketen Patchwork Boot
These bad boys would work with any possible colour combination I would work , complimenting a colour clashing outfit
or adding some spice to a more sombre outfit.

A boy can dream ...
